ABCo Commercial Pit Jacks are operated via an air operated hydraulic pump. This high output air pump delivers a rapid advance and controlled lift. A spring loaded lowering valve offers protection against overloading and accidental lowering. The pump unit will operate on air pressures from 6 bar (85psi) to 8.5 bar (125psi). Our jack is also fitted with a water trap/air filter as standard to prevent potential corrosion.
The twin threaded rod spring return cylinders each have a lifting stroke of 300mm and are fitted with high performance seals. Each cylinder is also fitted with an isolation valve allowing for independent operation as well as hose burst valve as an extra safety measure, locking off the rams should there be a hose failure.
A mechanical locking collar is also present on each ram which screws up and down the threaded rod. Once locked down to the headplate it offers an additional level of safety, ideal for longer working periods when the vehicle has to be raised for some time. Please note that we recommend the use of axle stands whilst the vehicle is raised.
Operation couldn’t be simpler due to the easy-to-use pneumatic push button controls for the raising of the rams and a release valve for lowering. Once the load has been lowered to ground level, the internal springs within the cylinders will bring the Pit Jack to resting point, fully retracted.
We manufacture our Pit Jacks to suit your particular needs by selecting the correct frame to fit your pit width. Our heavy-duty frames are built with the highest-quality steels to ensure durability. ABCo Commercial Pit Jacks are also fitted with zinc plated steel rollers which include roller bearings for ease of movement. Rollers have an additional 50mm of adjustment for precise installation inside the pit rails.
The position of the air supply is by standard on the right-hand side of the Pit Jack however as an optional extra, we can fit this on to the left-hand side to suit your air supply position. This prevents the air line being across the front of the jack.

Full parts cover
Any part failing from faulty materials or workmanship within the first 12 months from date of purchase will be replaced/repaired free of charge. Accidental and water damage of any component will not be covered by the warranty and will be fully chargeable (all repairs will be quoted before being carried out) e.g. damaged cylinder rods, internal water damage, damaged isolation/release valves etc.

Limited parts cover
Any part failing from faulty materials or workmanship, between month 13 to 60 from date of purchase will be replaced/repaired free of charge. Excluded from the above statement are consumable wearing parts: seals (cylinder, pump and valve), bearings, lifting adaptors, internal air pump components, air pipes, hydraulic hoses, any part suffering from accidental or water damage.

In order to ensure a long service life and continued warranty support on your jack, it must be kept in good working order and all operating parameters must be adhered to e.g. water trap intact and drained, correct operating air pressure and the jack kept clean, etc.
Details of weekly maintenance are included in the Pit Jack Operating Manual.
Failure to comply with the operating parameters and weekly maintenance instruction may invalidate your warranty.
