Bespoke, British-Made Hydraulic Hand Pumps, Cylinders & Power Packs
Bespoke, British-Made Hydraulic Hand Pumps, Cylinders & Power Packs

High-pressure 700 Bar Units

Our high pressure power packs are manufactured using the best quality materials to provide power to hydraulic machinery, mobile plant and equipment. We design and manufacture our hydraulic power packs from our factory in Nottinghamshire, UK.

The bespoke design can offer a variety of options of drive, reservoir size and valve configurations.

Please use the enquiry form or contact us to discuss your individual requirements and pricing. Once we've understood the application and specifications, we will prepare and submit a design proposal with costings for your evaluation and approval.

Initial design and quotation is completely free with no obligation.

200 Bar units are also available, please enquire for more information.

2500 Series

HIGH PRESSURE 700 BAR
POWER PACK
  • Maximum 700 bar / 10,000psi
  • Smaller compact design
  • Variety of valve connections available

4000 Series

HIGH PRESSURE 700 BAR
POWER PACK
  • Maximum 700 bar / 10,000psi
  • Higher flow rate & output
  • Variety of valve connections available
Both the 2500 Series and 4000 Series units are two stage pumps. The first low pressure
stage uses a gear pump which takes the pressure up to between 30 and 60 bar
depending on the model.

When reaching this pressure the pump automatically unloads the first stage
and then pumps on the high pressure radial pistons until the relief valve setting is reached.

    Technical Information

    RELIEF VALVE

A tamper proof relief valve is fitted to all models and set to 700 bar unless otherwise specified. An adjustable relive valve is available as an option.

    RESERVOIRS

Fabricated steel reservoirs are used (painted red or black) and are complete with filter breather, suction strainer oil level sight and magnetic drain plug. Most units have carrying handles and mounting holes in the base for installation to which rubber feet can be fixed.

    ADDITIONAL VALVES

The following range of valves are used:

ADV (Automatic Release Valve) Pressing the foot pedal starts the motor which generates pressure up to the relieve valve setting. When the foot pedal is released the motor stops and pressure is released allowing oil to flow back to reservoir. This valve is ideal for use on crimping and swaging machines. If controlled return of the cylinder is required, this valve should not be used.

MRV (Manual Release Valve) This valve is similar to ADV unit but pressure is held by a check valve allowing pressure to be held for long period. Pressure is released manually by a lever on the valve.

MLS (Manual lever valve for Single Acting Cylinders) This has 2 positions: 1) Pressure connected to port A 2) Pressure and Port A connected to tank

MLD (Manual lever valve for Double Acting Cylinders) 1) Pressure connected to Port A and Port B connected to tank 2) Pressure returned to tank and Ports A & B blocked 3) Pressure connected to Port B and Port A connected to tank

SS (Solenoid operated valve for Single Acting Cylinders)

    1) Pressure connected to Port A

    2) Pressure returned to tank and Port A blocked 3) Pressure and Port A connected to tank Valve is spring centered to position 2

SD (Solenoid operated valve for Double Acting Cylinders)

    1) Pressure connected to Port A and Port B connected to tank

    2) Pressure returned to tank and Ports A & B blocked

    3) Pressure connected to port B and Port A connected to tank Valve is spring centered to position 2

    MOTOR CONTROL

FS (Foot Switch) The foot switch works on a pneumatic principal. The pressure switch together with a fuse is mounted within the motor terminal box. A 2-metre cable is supplied for appropriate plug to be fitted.

MS (Motor Starter) A direct on-line starter complete with overload and no voltage trip is fitted to both single and three phase units.
